Small branch canal

250 small branch canals installed in various districts of state farmers are facilitating irrigation facility to the farmers of state. Cultivable capable area of all small branch canals is 179802 hectare, operating capacity 4112 cusec and established B.H.P. is 58401. Major and medium branch canal

There are 28 major and medium pump canals working in 25 districts of state. Cultivable capable area of all major and medium branch canal is 10 lac hectare, operating capacity 18630 cusec and established B.H.P. is 209021. Total length of main canals 1125 K.M. and total length of Rajwaha/Alpika is 5246 K.M. Detail of list of established major and medium branch canals in state is being mentioned in appendix-3. Organisation is executing maintenance of main work/pump house of major and medium branch canals.
